2020 Isle of Man TT – Schedule and itinerary confirmed – Visordown.com

WE’VE ONLY just come off the high of ‘The Mountain’ but dates for the 2020 Isle of Man TT have been revealed to give everyone something to look forward to.

As ever, the final days of May and into June – May 30th to June 12th to be exact – bookend the week you’ll want to book time off work and begin looking for accommodation and transport because quality options for both are going to be snapped up quickly (if they haven’t already…)

When is the 2020 Isle of Man TT?

30 May Saturday – Qualifying (Evening)

1 June Monday – Qualifying (Evening)

2 June Tuesday – Qualifying (Evening)

3 June Wednesday – Qualifying (Evening)

4 June Thursday – Qualifying (Evening)

5 June Friday – Qualifying (Evening)

6 June Saturday – Race Day 1

TT Sidecar and Superbike Race 1

8 June Monday – Race Day 2

            Supersport Race 1 and Superstock

10 June Wednesday – Race Day 3

            Supersport and TT Zero

12 June Friday – Race Day 4

            TT Sidecar and Senior TT

Naturally these dates and running order remain very provisional since this year’s Isle of Man TT appeared to prove that Mother Nature is not a big fan of road racing based on the daily re-jigging of the schedule to accommodate the persistent rain and fog that forced much of the track action to be squeezed into an excitingly compact – albeit stressful – timetable.

Once action did eventually get underway though, the TT once again demonstrated exactly why it is regarded as one of the world’s foremost festivals – sporting or otherwise – with Peter Hickman affirming his newfound reputation as a legend of ‘The Mountain’ with only a technical issue in the Senior TT denying him a sweep of the major titles.

In the meantime, why not get into the booking spirit by watching highlights from the centrepiece race.

Only 309 days to go…
