Self-catering accommodation allowed to re-open – 3FM

Self-catering accommodation on the Isle of Man is being allowed to open again from today.

The decision to do so was announced last week by Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, as part of the latest steps from government amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking last week, Mr Quayle said it builds on comments from Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, last Wednesday about the increase in demand for ‘staycations’ on Manx shores.

It comes after camping and ‘glamping’ facilities were given the green light to start up once more last Monday (May 18).
