The Ballymoney man clinched what many believe was his greatest victory on the Honda VTR SP-1 before going on to seal a hat-trick with further wins in the 250cc and 125cc races 20 years ago. It was sadly Joey’s final TT after he was tragically killed weeks later at an obscure race meeting at Tallinn, Estonia.
