PRONI – A Level Playing Field: Women In Sport

To celebrate the UEFA Women’s Under 19’s Championship and the Women’s Rugby World Cup taking place in August the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) hosted an event in conjunction with the Irish Football Association (IFA), Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU), the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and the Female Sports Forum.

PRONI presented talks from the IFA, IRFU and GAA, and a presentation by Denise Watson, sports journalist on the reporting of female sport past, present and future. This event took place in PRONI on 27th July 2017.
