Previews TT Isle of Man 2 world exclusive gameplay and preview – Team VVV

We were more than a little excited when we learned in 2016 we were finally getting a TT game after almost a decade wait. Released in 2018, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge provided a tense and thrilling challenge as it pitted players up against the gorgeously recreated version of the Snaefell mountain course which clocks in at an impressive distance of 33 3/4 miles.

However, the game was not without issue. At times we felt the physics lacked depth which ultimately lead to some frustrating crashes and the game suffered from a dull career mode. Fortunately, this year’s sequel has completely reworked physics and a much more interesting career mode featuring more tracks and bikes than before.

Our very first look at TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 gives you a brief look at lots of the new features added including the changing weather conditions, the new and improved gyroscopic physics, a look at some of the additional classic bikes and more. Many of these elements we will go into more detail on future previews so do keep an eye out for those.

During our studio visit, we caught up with a number of the development team responsible for elements such as recreating the stunning-looking course and bikes and the work that has gone into the newly revised physics system which you can learn more about in the preview video below.

In part two of our TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 preview we will be chatting to real-world TT rider Davey Todd as he takes us through a full lap of the course giving us some interesting feedback as well as having a chat about his amazing career to date.
