KPMG Isle of Man has raised thousands for a local charity helping support those with diabetes.

Staff at the firm have generated over £20,000 for the Manx Diabetic Group which aims to assist all those on the Isle of Man who have either type 1 or type 2 strains of the condition.

The funds raised are in support of Monitors4Kids – a parent-led campaign aiming to bring an end to potentially painful finger-prick blood testing and instead offer painless sensor technology which means blood glucose levels can be monitored constantly.

Chair of Manx Diabetic Group, Joanne Clague, is thanking KPMG personnel for their efforts, saying the equipment makes a ‘tremendous difference’ for local families.
