An independent review is going to be carried out looking into the teachers dispute on Island.

Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, made the announcement after being quizzed on the matter in the House of Keys yesterday.

He’d been asked by Garff MHK Daphne Caine what impact the ongoing dispute between the Department of Education, Sport & Culture and three teaching unions could have on the Isle of Man.

Currently, the NAHT, ASCL and NASUWT are taking action short of a strike due to an ongoing disagreement over pay and conditions.
