Hop Tu Naa – on the Isle of Man !

Just for fun animation. In the fifties as children on the Isle of Man we would hollow out our moots (turnips) to make lanterns for ‘Hop tu naa’ (we rarely ever called it Halloween). The money collected from knocking on doors and singing ‘Hop tu naa’ would be used to buy fireworks for bonfire night the following week.
