Flybe seeking rescue deal to avoid collapse – 3FM
Airline Flybe has been locked in survival talks in attempts to avoid its collapse.
According to Sky News, the company held discussions last night less than a year after the Exeter-based organisation was bought out by a Virgin-Atlantic led consortium.
The airline – which handles over 50 per cent of the UK’s domestic flights is attempting to secure additional funding amid mounting losses.
Flybe operates numerous routes to and from the Isle of Man including Liverpool and Manchester.
