There won’t be flights from the Island to Manchester.
Local travel firm – Ettyl had partnered with SUN-AIR of Scandinavia to deliver a temporary schedule between the IOM and the North West city.
Flights were due to begin from 7am tomorrow morning up until next Friday.
However, Ettyl has taken to social media to say following the Chief Minister’s announcement surronding Coronavirus earlier this week it’s now not possible.
It’s due to the fact to those arriving on Island now need to self-isolate for 14 days – and crews would have to do so.
As a result, it has cancelled all flights scheduled for the coming two weeks.
The travel firm says “These are testing times and we are in the process of communicating with customers affected. Any customer still wishing to travel will be offered an alternative of being booked as a foot passenger on to the Isle of Man Steam Packet.”
If you need to get in touch, you can contact Ettyl through Live Chat on its website or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
