Easyjet hoping to start IOM flights in September – 3FM
Easyjet is hoping to resume flights to and from the Isle of Man from September 1.
The airline says it will depend on border restrictions being lifted by that time, adding it expects significant levels of demand once they return.
Easyjet says in the meantime it continues to run a rolling programme to offer cancellations as the schedule is updated, meaning any passengers who see their flights called off will be informed of any refund options.
These could include transferring to another service free of charge, a voucher for the booking or a full refund.
It comes as the Isle of Man moved to stage four of its border strategy from yesterday, meaning Manx residents can freely travel to the UK and further beyond.
However, any resident who does so must self-isolate for 14 days once they return and will need a Manx Entry Permit to be allowed back to Manx shores.
Tickets for journeys to Liverpool and Gatwick are available on the Easyjet website from that starting date.
Flights to the likes of Manchester, Liverpool are currently being run by Loganair.
