Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, has welcomed the amount of public response over climate change.

It comes after the government launched an online portal for residents and businesses to have their say on how the Isle of Man should be tackling the issue.

Mr Quayle added the Isle of Man must act as a ‘responsible global partner’, adding the government approach to the matter will be ‘ambitious’.

Earlier this year Tynwald committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 with a new climate change bill expected to go before the court during this legislative year.
