BBC to fund TV licences for poorer pensioners in Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man – Telecompaper

The BBC has agreed to fund TV licences for the poorest, older pensioners in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man from January 2021. 

The decision follows a public consultation in the islands and will bring parity with licence fee payers in the UK. It also covers the poorest pensioners on the islands of Alderney and Sark.
