There have been more than 4,500 collisions on the Isle of Man since 2014.
The figures were revealed in Tynwald earlier today – Douglas Central MHK Ann Corlett had posed the question.
She asked Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey how many collisions there have been in each of the last 3 years – and in how many cases were vehicle defects a contributing factor.
He revealed between 2014 – 2018 there have been 32 fatal collisions, 217 serious, 931 slight and 3,413 damage collisions – totaling the final amount to 4,593.
