The Island’s construction sector has seen a 15 per cent increase in jobs since 2014.

The figure was confirmed in the House of Keys this week following a question from Onchan MHK Julie Edge to the Chief Minister.

She asked if he’d make a statement on the level of activity and growth in the sector.

There number of students studying construction has also increased by 24 per cent in comparison to last year.
