A court’s heard a man at a party he shouldn’t have been at had cocaine when searched by police.

Kyle Brian Molyneux, whose address was given as the Isle of Man Prison, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse when he admitted possessing cocaine.

Prosecutor Roger Kane told the court on October 21 Molyneux was spotted at a party in Berry Woods Avenue at 10pm, when he should have been observing a curfew.

Police officers spotted the 24 year old with a wrap of white powder in the kitchen, which he tried to dispose of as he was put in a police van.

The substance later turned out to be 2 grammes of the class A drug worth £200.

Hearing Molyneux had numerous previous convictions, magistrates fined him £350 and ordered him to pay costs of £125.
