Two new ultrasound machines have been donated to Noble’s Hospital.

Thanks to the Henry Bloom Noble Trust patients will now benefit from the latest in ultrasound technology.

The machines were bought for £70,000, which was kindly donated by the Trust.

They’ll now be used in the maternity unit labour ward, the neonatal intensive care unit and at outpatient clinics – offering greater capability, enhanced image quality and new features.

The technology also helps clinicians diagnose the causes of pain, swelling or infection in internal organs and are used to monitor the development of babies during pregnancy, allowing parents to see their unborn child.
