Police are warning residents of scam involving parcel collection cards.
It comes following reports of people receiving notes from ‘Fast Express Couriers’ which claims a package hasn’t been delivered.
However, authorities warn the aim of the scam is to get people to ring the premium rate number.
Officers are reminding people local companies will always use recognised numbers and won’t send such notices with a UK stamp.
The constabulary has also added such scams will increase in the run up to Christmas.
