A public consultation on criminal legal aid has been launched.

The HM Attorney General is overseeing the consultation, aimed at getting people’s views on the Island’s current system.

The consultation will also look at alternative approaches, such as fixed fees and a public defender scheme.

It’ll run for eight weeks and is available online through the Isle of Man Government’s Consultation Hub.
