Racers and spectators will descend on the North of the Island today as the Ramsey Sprints take place.

All classes of bikes will be able to compete during the day from 50cc machines right up to the fire-breathing drag bikes over the 1/8th mile strip.

Admission to the occasion is free for those watching with the action due to start from 10am.

As a result, Mooragh Promenade will be closed from 6am until 8pm today between Park Road and Premier Road but excluding the promenade footway, with parking also suspended on North Shore Road and the west side of Park Road.
